The owner is motivated and wants this boat sold. This 2004 Cabo 48 Convertible represents everything Cabo Yachts is known for: comfort, strength, reliability, and exceptional offshore performance. Powered by 10 cylinder diesel engines, her 2100 Hp moves this 45000 lb battle wagon effortlessly through the water and delivers the solid, confident ride Cabo owners expect. The 1,000-hour service was completed early, with brand new heat exchangers. Nibral propellers were tuned with cutlass bearings replaced, all with very few hours since service. The boat has been well maintained and is mechanically sound. The vessel is offered as-is and would benefit from some cosmetic TLC by the next owner. Like many boats of this era, there are gelcoat spider cracks, some of which are readily visible most will disappear with polishing. Additionally, three Strataglass flybridge panels will need repair, and one of the three air-conditioning units is currently in the shop. These items are relatively minor and can be easily remedied after delivery, along with any upgrades to suit the new owner’s preferences. Electronics, audio, and video systems are excellent, and all onboard systems operate as they should. The current owner is in the process of updating the interior, giving the salon a cleaner, more modern feel. Plans include the use of smart glass to eliminate the need for traditional window blinds.
