Don't miss out – boats in this condition don’t last long!
Seller comments: The boat was last professionally serviced by Ferry Marine in Livingston in 2020. Since then, it’s had very light use partly due to Covid, and partly because our new car at the time didn’t have a tow bar (it does now). Ahead of launching on Loch Lomond in 2022, I carried out an oil and fuel filter change, fitted a new distributor cap and isolator switch, and replaced the power steering reservoir, which had developed a minor leak. I also replaced a couple of hoses due to age. The boat hasn’t been in the water since.
I’d actually started prepping it recently to get back out again, as my wife had begun showing some renewed interest in boating but she’s now made a strong case for something a bit bigger, so here we are!
All the work was done with the help of a retired master technician friend, so everything’s been handled with care and attention. The boat has always been stored at home, never left in the water, and is properly winterised each autumn with antifreeze and fogging oil. Every spring, it’s started up, brought to temperature, and run intermittently for short periods over the summer to keep everything in good order.
It’s been well maintained with an emphasis on preventative care and she’s not been in the water as much as others her age.
