Additional
SOLITUDE was originally custom built by the West Bay Shipyard for a well known west coast boatman. Her current owner's were at the proper place at the right time in 2002 and were able to take over the "watch" on this exceptional vessel. Her carefully honed design, along with the craftsmanship of the Vermuellon family and staff, using only the most advanced technologies of the time and high end materials, created this pristine vessel. She's an Alaska veteran, as well as being a common sight in Northern BC waters during the annual NW cruising season.
SOLITUDE's well suited design and layout make her extremely practical for either a cruising couple or the entire family to operate with ease. The pilothouse design offers superb visibility from both the inside helm deck and on the fly bridge helm. In addition she has a cockpit docking station to assist with stern ties and or quick access to engine controls while fishing.
Stepping aboard SOLITUDE is convenient, by way of the large port side transom door or on either side deck at the rail breaks. She's accessed internally by way of double salon doors from the expansive cockpit, pilothouse doors on either side deck and a flybridge/pilothouse stair way.
SOLITUDE features the traditional 58 West Bay SonShip interior layout, as well as enjoying a custom port side wet bar area in the salon. Her bright cherry wood interior joinery is exceptional. Salon furnishings include a custom John Remmy L-settee, occasional chairs, coffee table and cabinets.
