Description
This boat was custom built to commercial specifications in Port Townsend, WA in 2001 by Lee Shore Marine. There were probably 5 of these hulls built and most ended up as commercial crab or fishing boats. It was one of 2 made that have the sliding walk-through bow door which makes this boat far more useful than the typical layout.
This boat was purchased by the original owner and trailered to Cheyenne, Wyoming where it was used as duck hunting transport 2 months a year in Manitoba. It was used in freshwater exclusively for 22 years.
The current owner purchased the boat in April of 2023 and completely refit the boat as a fishing platform that he could launch, fish and recover solo. It does this job well and is equipped far better and more intentionally laid out than most production boats today. It fishes 4 people comfortably, 6 if you fish from the bow.
This heavy duty, rough and rugged boat was built to be used without fear of damaging doors, decks, rod holders, hinges, seats, rails, etc. Modifications were kept consistent with the original design.
This boat is a tank and a proven fishing machine!
Receipts and records available.

In May of 2023 the boat was completely rewired except the fuel sending unit and fan circuits which were properly wired. Everything else was brought up to ABYC standards. Jo Abeli at Antzen Marine in Port Townsend completed the work. Compartment access was updated to allow access to wiring and various sending units at the time of the rewire.
The battery box was moved from the starboard transom to the starboard seat compartment inside the cabin for better protection and shorter wire runs. 2 group 27 Optima Blue Top AGM batteries, with a 4 position battery switch, are secured to the floor in this compartment. NOCO Genius onboard battery charger is hardwired for use while the boat is in storage.

Exterior
The conversion of this boat from a duck hunting transport vessel to a fishing platform included about 80 hours of welding at Dominator welding in Belfair. Removal of poorly installed railings, ladders and storage boxes, patching a variety of bolt-on holes, fabricating a kicker motor bracket with appropriate transom bracing, installing roof top brackets for radar and vhf antennas, downrigger mounting brackets, access panel fabrication, interior cabin railing fabrication, rear helm steering plate mount, bilge drain plug installation.
The hull was also pressure tested at this time and a small leak was found on the top rim of the aft deck sump in a defective weld. The weld was repaired and the hull passed the pressure test.
Bottom painting was completed in 2024 by Agate Pass Marine on Bainbridge Island. Preparation included sandblasting the hull, epoxy primer and a topcoat of Pettit XSR antifouling paint. The aft deck was coated with anti skid paint at the same time.
