Description

Very desirable twin engine Grand Banks 36 Classic with an extensive list of upgrades ranging from mechanical to cosmetic. All systems including fuel tanks were upgraded over the last three years. Please view the Additional Descriptions in this listing for more details.

Decks & Flybridge

Step onboard this GB 36 Classic through the boarding gate on the port or starboard side. Her teak decks span fore and aft and were serviced in 2022 along with the lexan hatches. The varnished rails, cap rails, and salon windows have canvas covers (2022) as well as the bridge console, hatches, transom, doors, and forward windows. The window frames were repainted in 2024. 

As you move aft, look up at the traditional Grand Banks mast was removed for a repaint and wiring along with new spreader lights in 2022. 

The Lazarette storage lockers are aft of the cabin and had the teak replaced in 2023. Note the swim platform was upgraded in 2023 with a 24” wide platform. 


Easy steps bring you to the flybridge. The bimini canvas overhead was replaced in 2023 along with the bridge cushions and covers. 


Salon & Galley

Moving back below to the main deck and entering the salon sole was stripped and refinished in 2022 and received a re-coat in 2024 along with the rest of the salon interior. The L shaped seating area cushions were replaced in 2022. The traditional GB folding leaf table was stripped and refinished in 2024. 

The galley is forward to the port side and features an induction electric cooktop and microwave 2022. Refrigeration is in the Grunert holding plate fridge with a Sea Frost compressor and holding plate replaced in 2018 with a new pump in 2024. There is a portable AC/DC freezer installed in the port seat locker aft of the galley. The faucet in the galley along with faucets in the guest heads were all replaced in 2022. There are freshwater filters before the water pump and at the galley sink. 

Air conditioning was replaced in 2023 and covers three zones. The AC raw water pump was replaced in 2024.

The helm is located on starboard side and has seen numerous upgrades in 2022:

Staterooms

Moving forward and down brings you to the forward stateroom with a v-berth. Windows received new blinds along with paint and floor varnish in 2022. The floor received additional varnish in 2024. A wet head is located to starboard.  

The private master stateroom is aft of the salon and has a double berth to starboard and a single berth to port and a hatch to access the aft deck. The stateroom includes private head, separate shower stall and sink. On the port side is a large hanging locker and storage lockers. There are storage drawers located below each berth.
