In 1977 Prairie commissioned J.B. Hargrave to design a semi-displacement “trawler” style power boat, Jack Hargrave was a well-respected designer who went on to design the famous Hatteras.

This vessel was designed and built by Prairie Boat Works Shipyard in 1981. She is the hull # 38.

Slowly is a US built 1981 36' Prairie double cabin trawler. The boat has a centerline queen size berth in the aft master stateroom, ensuite head in each stateroom, main deck level galley, bright, airy interior, full flybridge Eisenglass enclosure and non-skid decks. With her attainable 12'6" height, Possibilities is a perfect Great Loop candidate. 

Jack Hargrave designed a great pocket cruiser Prairie 36 Coastal Cruiser. Twin Perkins 4.236T Diesel engines with 110HP each. Onan 8.0 KW generator, AC, Full Galley, Flybridge and lower inside helm, lots of big opening windows and hatches. She has installed two "Raritan Lectra/san hold n treat system".

The boat has an inverter with two Lithium 300 amps each (600 Amps Total). You can run the complete boat with 110V with the house batteries without the generator. (air conditioning NEEDS the generator to run).

The Old Furuno Radar is in very good working condition. The Raymarine GPS same thing it is old but in working condition. I found enough for my use, but I always go with my iPad with the Navionics installed.  

Seller has done extensive repairs and maintenance in the past year. She is ready to enjoy!!!

 Other comments:

She is a very good built trawler. She is very strong. The deck is like a rock. There is not one soft spot on the main deck or in the flybridge floor deck. The two 4.236T Perkings start right away. It means very good compression on them. New starting batteries with a new battery charger dedicated only for the mains engines battery bank. A house Lithium battery bank of two 300 AMP each (600 amps total) with a inverter and battery charger dedicated to the two lithium batteries. The batteries have 4months old and they have 10 years warranty. You can run the complete 110 volt in the boat generator off (Air Conditioning only works with the generator).The generator is an ONAN, and it provides very good power when it is running.The electronics are old, but they still are in working conditions. Radar works like a champ.All the upholstery in the flybridge, aft deck sun pads, salon are new. With Beluga simile leather material with blue piping.
