The cruising speed is around 9 km/h, with a maximum speed of approximately 12 km/h. Thanks to the electric bow thruster, maneuvering in harbors and narrow waterways is easier, enhancing sailing comfort.The steering is done from the inside helm with a steering wheel, and the ship is equipped with a single rudder. Navigation instruments such as a depth gauge, tachometer, oil pressure gauge, and temperature gauge are present, as well as a voltmeter for the electrical system. The electrical installation operates on 12v and is equipped with shore power connection, battery charger, and alternator. In April 2025, new batteries were installed with a total capacity of 260 Ah, divided over two batteries.Construction and MaintenanceThe hull of the Assemakruiser is made of steel and has a hard-chine shape, ensuring a stable position in the water. In 2023, the underwater hull was treated with antifouling and the hull was repainted.
