Description
THE FLAMINGO was designed by Ed Monk Sr. and constructed in 1950 of Port Orford Cedar on steam bent White Oak bottom, Red Cedar topsides, Monel fastened, solid Mahogany house and flybridge, canvas over Marine Ply decks, Oak rubstrakes, Mahogany caps and coves. Heavy construction. All Original builders Blueprints on board plus 2021 Survey. DETROIT TWIN 671'S. TOTAL HP 440, making 12 knots at full throttle. Low hours (732) SINCE PREVIOUS REBUILD. Roomy well lit engine room, with remote engine room starting and fresh water wash out after each use. Full gratings give access to dry bilges,oil free motors.
