Beautiful Handmade 13 foot solid wood sailing dinghy / row boat. Unknown manufacturer, no hull number. I haven't been able to find another like it. Excellent condition, gently used. Gaff sail. This beautifully built, classic sailing dingy, was constructed from the popular Chesapeake Light Craft CNC kit. Completed in 2024 and only sailed 4 times, this Lake Union Swift is a 10-foot sailing dinghy which is a variant of the popular Tenderly Dinghy. Ten feet long, 52" wide, and able to handle a 425-pound payload. The hull features graceful lapstrake planking and easily-driven lines. Stability is solid and she'll handle two adults and a child. The traditional interior includes standard scuppered inwales and floorboards. Rigged with a large, efficient balanced lug sail, she's sporty and responsive on all points. She also rows well with one, two, or three passengers. Swift's structural bench seats, running most of the length of the boat, provide better ergonomics for sitting while under sail. The seats also enclose a vast watertight volume providing built-in flotation allowing for rapid recovery from a capsize. Modern wood-epoxy composite construction ensures rugged durability. All brightwork is coated in 6 layers of varnish over an epoxy protective layer. Included with the boat is a new life vest with whistle, floating seat, pair of sawyer oars and an oversized galvanized EZloader trailer. Model EZWB 12-14 1200, the trailer is rated for 1200lbs and has only been in the water 5 times.
