Think WAY outside the box: I bought this vessel as an off-grid mobile home that has served me very well. A liftboat needs no marina or dock, just pull up wherever you have 6-1/2' of water at high tide and jack up. Since arriving in NYC after a 2,600 mile offshore voyage from Louisiana in 2022 (with no problems), I've successfully kept it for over a year at a time in locations where I paid nothing, and walked off the boat onto a commuter train platform in NYC, as well as in scenic locations up the Hudson River where houses with the views I had cost millions. Amazingly, the USCG treats liftboats unlike anything else (and I have it in writing from them): when I'm jacked up out of the water Legs III can be used commercially even though documented recreational. I charge $5,000 per day and have no manning or inspection requirements. I can easily operate and maintain the vessel single handed. Currently located in trendy Red Hook Brooklyn but very mobile at a moment's notice! If you own waterfront property, stop worrying about sea-level rise threats to your home or shop, and buy this rig. Just push a button to climb those legs at 10' per minute. It's been through countless hurricanes and storms without a scratch.
