Yamaha-powered OceanMaster hits the UK
The OceanMaster range of powerboats from Norway has been introduced to the UK by Fine Design Marine of Poole.
OceanMaster has long been known for the construction of multi-purpose family sports boats, which exhibit a very practical and well considered use of space. And as with a great many builders from this part of the world, a laudable emphasis on two key priorities (quality of build and outstanding sea-keeping ability) means that OceanMaster has always remained a firm favourite with Norwegian boaters.
The new OceanMaster 720 WA is the next step in the development of the range. Designed for great cruising ability and approved for up to ten passengers, the 720 uses a stepped hull to help improve running efficiency and top-end performance. It also features a fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, stove and sink for longer weekend trips, plus a comfortable two-berth cabin with lots of storage space, a toilet and excellent natural light and ventilation. Up top, the large sun lounger aft and the convertible sun deck in the forward space make this a very effective and versatile looking leisure platform.
The Yamaha-powered 720 WA can be partnered with outboard engines of between 140 and 300 hp, generating top-end performance from 33 to 43 knots. To find out more about this new Nordic sports cruiser, visit www.finedesignmarine.co.uk.
