The RYA is urging UK boaters to take part in The Green Blue Survey 2012. The idea is that you tell them what you think about the work of The Green Blue - and in return, you are entered into a draw to win a pair of rather fetching Directors’ Chairs from Reefer Sails, plus a wine hamper from the Eden Project.

Since its launch in 2005, The Green Blue has talked to thousands of boaters, and hundreds of clubs and marine businesses across the UK about ways to reduce the impact of boaters on the environment, but they are still looking for ways to improve. Jane Swan, The Green Blue Project Manager, explains: “We like to think we’ve made a difference but to see if that’s true we want to know your thoughts. Only by hearing from you will we be able to improve what we do and how we do it. From recycling to using solar panels, from catching antifoul drips to slowing down around wildlife, share your concerns and tell us what more we can do to help.”
