The Olympic sailing competition has been taking place in Weymouth, away from the hustle and bustle of London, but despite its distance from London, it's had plenty of royal visitors, including the Duke of Edinburgh, the Princess Royal and the Duchess of Cambridge.

HRH The Princess Royal was down in Weymouth to witness the first two medal races, training her binoculars on the action throughout the two races as she saw Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson sail into silver, and Ben Ainslie gold. The Princess also gave out the medals at the special ceremony held at the National Sailing Academy in Portland.
Following her down to Weymouth the next day was HRH The Duchess of Cambridge, who greeted sailors and organisers, and admired Ben Ainslie's gold medal.
