A "Mastwalk"? What's that? We all remember Alex Thomson's amazing "Keelwalk" video which went viral a few years ago (see Stunt man of sailing faces Vendee on Hugo Boss).

The Hugo Boss-sponsored singlehanded round the world sailor, who did so well in the last Vendee Globe Race, has always loved his pranks. As well as the Keelwalk, remember the video of him wakeboarding behind his Open 60 Hugo Boss? The latest in a line of dramatic stunts is his "Mastwalk", which you can watch on video below.

 


 

The mast of the Open 60 Hugo Boss is 30 metres tall - the equivalent of a 10 storey building, so the run up it, clothed of course in an immaculate Hugo Boss suit, is no mean feat. "It's possible we won't make it," says Alex at the start of the Mastwalk video... but, James Bond style, you know he will! Hats off to Alex Thomson and his team for yet another fun stunt that is sure to go viral. We just wonder what is next?
