Description
• Excellent and proven long-distance ship for all areas of the world with a small crew. Wooden hull (35mm) from the Sommerfeld shipyard coated with several layers of epoxy. Very strong and well built constuction. High-quality and extremely complete equipment with very extensive investments in the last 4 years (over 300,000 euros), including a new engine, electrics, generator, and much more. Ideal ship for long-distance travel, even with a small family crew.
05-2025: Professional hull painting and underwaterbody painting.
• Particularly high-quality center cockpit wooden yacht with top-rigged cutter rig. This very fine yacht was only put into operation in 2013 and rigged for the first time in 2014. The hull is from 1983, mold-glued in 35 mm Sipo mahogany, coated with 2 layers of roving / epoxy and was built by Sommerfeld (at the time one of the best and most well-known names for wooden hulls in Germany). The ship was designed for long-distance voyages and life on board; good handling with a small crew and high-quality technology were a priority (Becker rudder, Proctor rig, Reckmann reefing systems, Beilken sails, KVH electronics, later B&G, etc.). The interior is friendly and very bright, it offers a lot of space and good standing heights in all areas. The woodwork can be described as very good. Equipped with a generator, washing machine, dryer, gas stove / 220V, hot water heating, etc. In the foreship there is a large bathroom with a very spacious shower on the starboard side. The stern has no bathroom, only a toilet in the engine room accessible from there. The aft cabin offers enough space to retrofit a bathroom on the starboard side. Viewing by appointment.
