Saga boats

Saga has a long history in boat building. Founded in 1960 with the aim of building high-quality boats with good seaworthiness. The local tradition of excellent craftsmanship is the main focus.

 

The yard

Saga Boats utilizes its own knowledge, reinforced by close collaboration with leading designers. Since the early 1980s, the program has been expanded to include semi-planing boats. Quality is of great importance to ensure seaworthiness. This gives Saga a common identity and strengthens the Saga brand name. It has resulted in a high second-hand value of the vessels. A large part of the annual production is exported to the European market. Sweden, Finland, Denmark, England, Germany, the Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, and of course Norway itself. Saga is a label of quality in both Norway and throughout Europe.

 

SAGA 390 HT

The Saga 390 builds on the successful model of the Saga 385, which was nominated (as 370HT) for Boat of the Year 2015 in London.

The 390 is a different boat than the 385, which has sliding doors to the aft deck. This model is an open HT model without these sliding doors, creating an enormous space.

 

The layout of the cabin, the middle cabin, and the toilet are taken from the success of the Saga 385. The boat is standard equipped with a 330HP Volvo Penta D6 engine, which, with this hull shape, provides a top speed of up to 27 knots.

 

This boat offers a great stay, comfort, excellent seaworthiness, improved fuel consumption, and a higher cruising speed than the smaller Saga models.

The boat features a very spacious aft cockpit with a large L-shaped bench. The mid cabin is more than 3 meters long and has a very large sleeping cabin with two large and spacious sleeping places. There is also a large bathroom with a separate shower cabin. The standing height is on average over 2 meters high, which benefits the space in the boat.
