Description
Amara is a Ron Holland designed Magnum 46.5, a proven bluewater cruiser–racer that blends elegant lines, offshore strength, and a practical, comfortable interior. Built for performance and safety, she has the pedigree and equipment to carry you confidently across oceans.
Her powerful sloop rig, wide beam (14’6”), and deep fin keel deliver both speed and stability under sail, while her spacious cockpit and thoughtful deck layout make her secure and efficient for passagemaking. With self-tailing winches, Whitlock wheel steering, and running rigging led aft, she is easily managed by a couple, yet offers the performance to satisfy keen sailors.
Below deck, Amara offers six berths across three cabins, two heads, and a bright saloon with ample seating — making her ideal for extended family cruising or long-distance passages. The seaworthy galley, dedicated nav station, and generous storage further underline her ocean-going capability. Air conditioning is fitted in the saloon, providing cooling comfort in the main living space, with airflow trickling into adjacent areas for additional relief in warm climates.
She has been thoughtfully upgraded with bluewater essentials, including a watermaker, solar charging system, Starlink satellite internet, and a comprehensive suite of Raymarine navigation electronics with AIS, autopilot, and GPS repeaters. For the adventurous, she also carries a dive compressor with tanks, providing complete independence for diving expeditions in remote anchorages. Safety is bolstered by an Echomax active radar reflector and robust ground tackle with electric windlass.
Whether your ambitions are transatlantic crossings, Caribbean cruising, or extended voyaging, Amara is already equipped and perfectly suited for bluewater cruising in comfort and safety.
