Description

This Nauticat 331 motor sailer is in immaculate condition and is only four years old.

Freya has been with her present owner from new and has served him well . He took delivery of her May 2013 and began a voyage that took him exploring the Finnish Archipelago, across to Estonia to travel along the Baltic coast through the Baltic States. He went across to Gdansk and along the North Polish coast into Germany, visiting many lovely Hanseatic League towns. From there he went into Southern Denmark and then traversed the Keel Canal.  He visited the North Frisian Islands before entering the Dutch canal system and taking the 'mast up route' emerging back into the North Sea via the Amsterdam Canal. After going down the coast and over to Dover he arrived in Southampton where the boat was shown at the 2013 Boat Show, an excellent example of the Nauticat brand.

Since then he has sailed her every season covering the coast and rivers of Brittany, Ireland, West coast of Scotland and Wales.

The Nauticat 331 motor sailer is known for its high quality construction and sea kindly performance.  The owner has found she can easily be managed single handed. Lines lead aft and the electric anchor windlass can be powered from cockpit as well as from foredeck. This very recent version of the Nauticat 331 has the improved underwater profile, when compared with the Nauticat 33, with the change to a fin keel, which leads to improved sailing performance. The bow thruster assists maneuverability. She can be steered from the helm position in the wheelhouse or from the open helm position aft in the roomy cockpit.

She goes well under sail and the Yanmar engine is responsive and reliable.

The finish on the Nauticat is excellent. She has laid teak decks and high quality wood finish inside and out. She has been well cared for and upholstery and carpets are in excellent condition.

The accommodation is attractive combining a clean modern feel with traditional elegance.

The galley has a 1.5 bowl sink, pressurised hot and cold water and a sea water tap.  and a stove with oven and two burner hob. There is a top opening 100 litre fridge with isotherm SP cooling system. There is plenty of space for storage and for food preparation.

All crockery cutlery and pans included.

Freya has an impressive deck saloon providing not only the interior helm position but also a social space, with table and upholstered seating. Going forward down the companionway, the galley is to starboard and to port is a dining area with table and seating. This converts to provide a double berth which can be curtained off.

Adjacent is one of the two heads compartments. This has sea toilet, washbasin and shower and is connected to the holding tank.

The forecabin offers two comfortable berths and storage. It can be closed off with door or curtain.

Aft of the deck saloon is the master cabin with ensuite. The master cabin has an off set double berth and plenty of room. There is ample storage. The ensuite has sea toilet, washbasin and shower and is connected to the holding tank.

The accommodation is heated both by the engine and by a Webasto system.
