I am selling my solar powered privately owned, fully equipped for long term cruising, Fountaine Pajot Lavezzi 40 catamaran, four cabin version, built in 2009. The highlight is the solar-powered electric system, which offers the use of electricity like on land. The 1,46 kW peak solar panels combined with two big LiOnFe batteries and 220/110 voltage inverters/chargers are from Victron Energy. You can run all type of electronic devices, up to 2000 watt on board. 220 voltage is available in each cabin and the salon using the original installation from Fountaine Pajot. For long trade wind passages, a parasailer with 90 sqm is on board, which offers easy handling.
The Lavezzi 40 catamaran has the same hull as the following models Lipari 41 and Lucia. Only the upper part is different, what causes more weight (approx. 2 tons). The bimini of the Lavezzi 40 is very lightweight and offers a walkable area to work on the mainsail. And the three solar panels on the top of the bimini provides extra rain protection. The catamaran is equipped with electronics from Raymarine. There is a chart plotter e-Series (Hybrid Touch), active AIS and radar. There is also a water maker who produces per hour 100 litter fresh water. Extra water tap with filter allows you to drink water directly from the tank. In December 2017 I bought the catamaran from a German guy. He sailed the boat like I in the Caribbean. I can send you a professional survey report which was conducted before I have purchased the catamaran. The catamaran is hauled out St. Martin, ready for a sea trial. With only 6.2 tons weight and 95 sqm, the Lavezzi sails very well. Together with the folding propellers, you can reach up to 10 knots through the water, with reefing like from Fountaine Pajot described.
