Rocas is one of the most impressive 655s launched, the g5 deck salon profile gives her a sleek and purposeful look, which hints at her performance under sail.

She is a sailor’s yacht with fully battened mainsail and carbon mast and boom, and twin carbon wheels. Below decks, her interior joinery is finished in teak, and complemented by leather upholstery in ivory.

Rocas has just undergone a substantial refit at Fox’s overseen by an experienced skipper and project manager.

She is a safe, fast, and comfortable yacht ready to explore the world’s oceans with her new owners.

Oyster 655/08.



The hull is a composite construction, moulded using a polyester gelcoat and vinylester laminating resin. Incorporating a high-tech custom monolithic (single skin) E-glass/Carbon/Kevlar composite laminate, specially designed by High Modulus, one of the world leaders in composite yacht design.

The composite hull skin is reinforced with a matrix of stringers and floors both above and below the waterline. Bulkheads are plywood. Limber holes and/or tubes are installed at appropriate points. Stringers, bulkhead landings, and floors are formed over a non-structural inert polyurethane foam.

Boat lifted for hull work. Lightly blasted then sanded for new coatings of epoxy and antifoul, repair to hull gelcoat blemishes, and polished (December 2021).

The deck edge incorporates a bulwark, which facilitates relatively flat side decks. The top of the bulwark is a clean GRP finish with a modern and stylish ‘rolled edge’ that enhances the yacht’s visual appearance with a graceful sheer line.

Double berths have split mattresses allowing a central lee cloth to provide the necessary support and separation.

Designed to be modern and coordinated, whilst remaining practical and durable at sea. Essential features include sculpted fiddles and grab rails, ‘shadow-gap’ joints between panels and ‘Cream’ inlay lines in doors and saloon table. All heads lockers have teak fronts. All drawers use metal runners, which give extremely smooth operation. Mobella McCoy Nova door handles throughout, lockable at each head.

Interior joinery finished in quarter sawn teak. Cabin sole in routered teak.

Accessed from the cockpit via a set of teak timber steps with stainless steel handrails, the light and airy saloon features a large curved L-shaped settee to starboard, and a shorter settee to port.

Central to the curved L-shaped settee that seats eight is a walnut inlaid dining table with fold-out centre section and ‘Cream’ inlay lines. Starburst elm inlay on closed table top and single hand cut-out on either side of divide. Teak bottle holder on aft face of table pedestal and additional stowage, angled for wine stowage.
