Added Information and Upgrades

A - Genoa roller furling system now has a small winch on the starboard side together with clutch and sheave with webbing strop for easy handling
B - Mainsail cover now zips up at the mast to cater for owner short in stature unable to easily zip at the stern as is usual
C – Moveable inner forestay
D - Raymarine A57 chart plotter fitted in cockpit
E – Front opening fridge sealed up by owner 2002. Preferred top opening.

Further additions made by the owner (Interior)

1 - Yeoman plotter available and wired for use on chart table. Maybe old-fashioned but much used by owner

2 - USB port at chart cable useful for charging small items

3 - Extra large fender in deep locker under forward bunk. Also storm jib in the same locker.

4 - Original single unit for fridge/freezer combined was not sufficient. Air-cooled compressor unit is now for freezer only (located under starboard seating in main cabin). A second water-cooled compressor unit for fridge only is behind the drawers just forward of the cooker starboard side. The inlet for the water cooling is inside the locker under the forward bunk attached to the forward heads pick-up. This was done by Tilikum in Martinique in 2003 and the wiring diagram is in one of the plastic folders books.

4a New fridge pump fitted Feb 2020. Situated under floor near the double sink (sink seacock in same locker)

5 – Separate engine start battery (sealed) is under the chart table seat and is charged by small solar panel forward of the sprayhood

6 – Domestic batteries are 4 - 6V Trojan wired to 12V

7 – Digital Battery monitor display at chart table

8 – A smart regulator is fitted on the panel inside the hinged engine compartment

9 – MPPT regulator fitted in 2011 for the 3 solar panels above the arch. Situated under chart table seat.

10 – Under the stern mattress and behind headrest, there are lockers with torque wrench, spare taps (faucets), 2 lengths of electric cable, spares, tools in toolbox and toolbag etc

11 – Under the floor next to cooker are multiple spares (not necessarily same as marked on the boxes)

12 – Multiple smaller spares are under the forward cabin mattress.

13 – 1 Par freshwater pump, 1 Macerator pump and 1 Flojet fridge pump 24V on top of forward cabin wardrobe

14– Main cabin shelf on port side contains 3 plastic folders with written info and instructions for the various items of equipment, including a Raymarine instrument file. Also a Dark blue Hunter file and a Yanmar factory book specific to the 4JH3E engine

15 – Under floor space under main cabin table has oil,, coolant, plastic battery filler etc

16 – Under forward cabin small seat we believe there is a man overboard light, emergency aerial, starter motor, foghorn, 110V toaster, ships bell.

17 – The A57 chart plotter is stored separately in a drawer in the forward cabin

18 – 2 Life jacket harnesses and tethers in forward cabin drawers

19 – Fluxgate compass for autopilot is situated under main cabin table near water tank (we think)

20 – Cutlery, cooking pans, bowls, cups, storage boxes in Galley area

21 – Full set of fly screens for hatches and ports

Additions exterior

1 – The rigging has been replaced at intervals as advised by Louis at Turbulence who will have the records

2 - Fuel polishing system. Filter for this is in stern locker outside cockpit starboard side . The valve handle next to the filter allows diesel to flow to the engine in the vertical position whilst the horizontal position shuts it off from the engine to allow the diesel to ‘polish’ through the tank and filter. The switch is at the chart table. You can hear the pump running in the stern.

3 – 180ft of main anchor chain 3/8” new 2019 with Delta 44lb anchor new 2017

4 – Fortress kedge anchor (not assembled) in locker outside cockpit starboard side

5 - Solid steps for Marina/dock use stored in locker as in 4

6 – Jacobs ladder for man overboard in locker as in 4 & 5

7 – Extra length nylon snubber with armoured plastic covering for anchoring (with 3/8”grab hook amongst spares) in outside cockpit locker port side

8– Long length of chain and rope stored in purpose-made soft bag for shackling onto Bruce anchor at bow in locker as in 7

9 –Dinghy boarding steps to aid transferring from sea to dinghy in locker as in 7 & 8.

10 – Starboard locker inside cockpit contains miscellaneous items (polishes, oils etc) but also contains bosuns chair and solar shower at the back of locker high up.

11 – Stern starboard side locker within cockpit contains 4 x 5 US Gallon diesel containers, dinghy pump etc, and emergency tiller in dedicated clips. This slots in for use under screwed plastic cover under hinged helmsmans seat

12 – Corresponding locker port side contains manual pump (handle fits into slot on outside of locker and is usually stored in well forward of the wheel). Also contains ropes, sheets, bucket, etc

13 – Fenders stored in aft lockers outside cockpit.

14 – Storm jib already referred to fits on moveable inner forestay. It is taken forward to strong point for use and is hanked on.

15 – Full bimini and sprayhood (believe spray dodger in US). Bimini, which is arch-mounted, has been replaced with new in sections over the years. Martin Brown at Turbulence stores all our sails and canvas and has replaced all the canvas over the years

16 – Dinghy ‘Dabchick’ is a Caribe L9 (2009) Serial No.VE-EMD L90230808 (stored under boat in large grey purpose-made bag. Dinghy has been serviced by Donal in Grenada.

17 – There are 2 – Outboard engines for the dinghy (ie one spare) stored by the engineers in the yard. One is a Mercury 2.5HP Model ME 2.5M Serial No.OT 717967. Other is a Tohatsu 3.5HP Model M3.5 B2 3FO Serial No.007939XG

18 – Solar panels. There are three large fixed panels on top of the cockpit arch and in addition 2 flexible solar panels which fit on deck studs (one forward of mast starboard side and one forward of sprayhood starboard side. Cable for these fits into deck plug adjacent to mast base. These are usually sufficient for normal electrical needs (inc fridge & freezer) at anchor for a few days without resorting to engine

19 – Underwater hull was completely stripped down by Grenada Marine in 2019 (Due to a build-up of antifoul). It was decided to take the opportunity to apply EPOXY at this time

20 – Masthead anchor light now converted to LED

21 – Autopilot box is situated on boxed space in middle of the aft outside cockpit locker

22 - 2- Harnesses and tethers in main cockpit locker

23 - Life jackets are in portside locker within cockpit

24 – Liferaft is attached to the stern starboard side on stainless steel quick-launching system. This is a 4 man valise with navy cover. Serviced in Grenada by Donal. Papers kept in one of the plastic folder books.
