The present unit for sale, has successfully completed a circumnavigation, her current first owners have taken her around both coasts of the Atlantic, from Europe and W Africa, to South America, and through Panama canal to the South pacific islands and Australia. As Chantier Garcia allowed variations in the internal distribution to fit the specific needs of each owner, we chose an internal distribution and equipment suitable for long, safe and comfortable passages with a reduced crew of 2 , as well as a great deal of autonomy at anchor, On such aim, the vessel was designed to oprate basically with solar energy ,minimising the energy consumption by the use of thick polyurethane clos cell panels, the vessel being also insulated by 50mm polyurethane panels and optimising the energy storage on 2V cell gel batteries. The water maker is also based on the energy recovery by the use of a Clark pump system drawing just 8A to produce 100L/day of water

CORROSSION: In order to eliminate any electrolytic corrosion, the vessel is protected with impressed current cathodic protection system , the same used for the commercial ships, no ned of anodes is required , and standard cooper based antifouling paints can be used.

Galley: A wide galley made on cherry wood and wite synthetic marble is equipped with a GLP Foce 10 kitchen, double SS sinks , The galley incorporates one seawater and one freshwater water faucet connected to 2 Whale foot pumps. A Whale hand pump supplies drinking water directly from a dedicated 90 lt stainless tank filled directly from the water maker. Freedge and deep freezer both with top opening are perfectly integrated on the galley
Refrigeration: 100mm isolated fridge and 150mm insulation on the freezer, top opening with double seal mounted on a GRP moulded top, are serviced by two frigoboat compressors 12V, water cooled condenser, and independent evaporating plates. Electrical consumption on tropical areas of only 80 Amp a day, fridge at 7º C and the deep freezer at –16ºC ( average temperatures between top and bottom).
Accommodation: 2 double cabins + one single all in varnished cheery wood. Hellas fans in all cabins and dinning room properly distributed. Umpolstry blue turquoise in perfect conditions. Mattresses 120mm thick on high density polyurethane foam , in front cabin is a composite of latex- polyurethane. All mattresses on special aeration supports to eliminate condensation.
Toilets : With two toilets, one aft just beside the descent, with a dedicated area for the weather gear, and a second one on the bow with shower behind the sail storage area, access from the owner's cabin. Hot and cold water in all faucets.
The HIFI TEAC aplifier with 2 Tannoy speakers will be appreciated by the music lovers.

A 32 breakers electrical panel protects each electrical system with a double phase thermal breaker including an on / off led indicators. All main cables are aviation quality (cooper tined and silicone insulated). Generous dimensioned cables, up to 150mm2, makes the voltage drop in each circuit less than 5%.

AC: The system is based on 220V 50Hz. Powered either by:

There are several AC connections through the vessel making easy to connect any 220 device.
DC Chargin system:
Two AC/DC chargers Victron 30 Amp can charge the batteries from any AC source. Five x 55 wat Siemens solar panels plus an Airmarine wind generator ( needs replacement ) are normally enough to compensate for the daily courrent needs when the vessel is on its anchor. MAINTENANCE: Keeping the boat on perfect sailing conditions has been a must for the owner.
