Busfield Marine is pleased to have listed this very special world cruiser. She has obviously proved herself, has most recently complete a circumnavigation of Australia, and has and has been in her current ownership for over a decade. She has a fully battened mainsail for enhanced performance and reliability, whilst her head sails benefit from hydraulic furling.
Below decks she has light oak joinery, which was unusual at the time, and sleeps ten in five cabins. She is comprehensively specified and has been very well maintained. Refitted in 1994 by Camper and Nicholson in Gosport, England and having undergone major upgrades and refits in 2005, 2016/17 and 2019. She is in beautiful condition, being professionally maintained.

HULL CONSTRUCTION Laid-up GRP, single skin with structural stringers and floors to Lloyd’s approved design specification. Outer hull laminate in Vinylester resin.
HULL FINISH White hull with cove line and double boot top lines in standard Oyster blue. Repainted during 2001/02 refit. Immaculate ‘as new’ finishes.
DECK CONSTRUCTION Moulded in GRP with balsa core.
DECK FINISH Teak laid decks with varnished teak capping rail. (Cap rail re-varnished 2017).
KEEL High performance bulb (HPB) external lead keel.
RUDDER Fully protected skeg-hung rudder.
STERN DESIGN ‘Sugar scoop’ stern design with bathing platform trimmed with teak slats and stainless steel steps for access to the counter stern.

CANVASWORK Bimini, dodger and full awning in grey (all new 2015). New ‘Southern Ocean’ screen – full height clears, at aft end of dodger provides a weatherproof seal between cabin and cockpit, 360-degree visibility and access to autopilot repeater. Cover for cockpit table. Cockpit and deck cushions (new 2015). Storage bags for halyards and winch handles on mast side rails (new 2017).
DECK PLUMBING A hot and cold freshwater deck shower in transom locker. Anchor/deck wash.
COCKPIT Walk-through teak-laid cockpit. Stainless steel drinks holders to pedestals.
COCKPIT TABLE Double folding cockpit table with cover. Revarnished regularly and immaculate.

SPINNAKER GEAR Twin aluminium alloy spinnaker poles stowed vertically on mast. SAILS By North Sails: Furling yankee and staysail (2016). New head foils for yankee and staysail (new 2016/17). Storm jib and tri-sail (2005). New custom made bag for Storm tri-sail fitted allowing attachment to mast for easy deployment on major Ocean crossings.
Good condition fully battened mainsail by Ian Short Sails. Mainsail fully serviced, tack, clew reefing points and leech reinforced (2016/17). 2 x asymmetric spinnakers in excellent condition. New tack lines for mainsail reefing system installed (new 2016/17). Frederickson batten car system.
GENERAL Ten berths in five cabins, excluding the saloon. Interior joinery finished in light oak with herringbone veneers to all doors. Designed to be modern and coordinated, whilst remaining practical and durable at sea. Essential features include sculpted fiddles and grabrails and Oyster custom knobs for lockers and drawers. Cabin sole in teak and holly. Surfaces in galley and heads in ‘Blue/Grey’ Corian. Headlining in off-white vinyl. Upholstery in ‘Blue’ Alcantara. Curtains/blind system to windows in all cabins.
