Description
The Gulfstar Hirsch 45 designed by Lazzara are based on the Gulfstar 44 and have a reputation as excellent cruisers. This sturdily built centre cockpit boat comes with lots of recent upgrades and is well equipped for full time cruising. Down below is very comfortable with enough teak to look classic and enough white surfaces to look modern. The cockpit is spacious and can comfortably sit 8 people. Accommodation
The layout offers up to six berths in two cabins plus saloon. There is full standing headroom and good ventilation throughout. The forward cabin has a standard double V-berth with cabinets to stb and en-suite heads to port, accessed from cabin or saloon. The head of the berth also accessed the anchor locker. The saloon has centre line drop leaf table and settees either side. The starboard side full length settee also pulls out into double bunk.The U-shaped galley lies port side with sink with pressurized water, fridge with small freezer compartment, gimballed three-burner propane hob and oven, microwave and plenty of storage lockers. The chart table and seat and electrical panel are to starboard just before the walk-thru lined with cabinets to the aft cabin. The master cabin has a centre line bed with lots of storage beneath and hanging and storage lockers either side (as well as the large portable freezer to port). The large en-suite heads with jabsco manual toilet, wash basin and separate shower cubical is to port within the cabin.
Mechanical Systems
The Perkins 4.108, 54hp engine was last rebuilt at 1,788 hours and has done 162 hours since rebuild. Last serviced August 2022. New Balmar 170a alternator with external regulator. Shaft transmission drives a 3 bladed folding Autoprop.

Construction
This Gulfstar Hirsch was built in 1986 and is hull number 30. Lead ballast encapsulated keel with skeg hung rudder. The hull is white, the decks have pale blue non skid. The bottom was last anti-fouled 2021
Registration
Halcyon has a Michigan registration and there are no outstanding mortgages or encumbrances.
