Description

“Anne Bonny” is a high-end boat built in a time era when a sea kindly motion in a seaway while crossing oceans was an important factor in the design brief. She looks good, sails well and wraps you in comfort.

Accommodations

With the abundance of oiled teak, a teak and holly cabin sole, 10 bronze opening ports, two deck hatches, and four Dorade boxes the interior of “Anne Bonny” is warm, bright and very comfortable.

The roomy vee berth in the forward stateroom affords comfortable accommodations for two. There are drawers and lockers and shelves for stowage, two opening ports and a Lexan hatch for ventilation and light.

The port side head is well thought out with plenty of room to move around without infringement upon space needed for the forward cabin. A wash basin with pressure water, handheld style shower with teak grate shares space with the manual head and several drawers and lockers making the area highly functional, orderly and livable. There is an opening port and Dorade for ventilation. Opposite the head compartment are two spacious hanging lockers serving both the master stateroom and the main cabin.

The main cabin is well laid out and extremely functional for both sleeping and eating as well as entertaining on board. There is a large “L” shaped settee to port which extends to form a double berth with storage under, and lockers and shelf above. The starboard settee serves as a single berth, with lockers and shelf above. Both settees have lee cloths for overnight passage making. A large, fixed drop leaf table affords comfortable service for six at meals. For ventilation there is a deck hatch, Dorade vents, two cabin fans, opening ports w/screens, both solid teak companionway drop boards and louvered doors. The multiple ports and hatches provide abundant light to show off the beautiful teak interior and teak and holly cabin sole. The port and starboard overhead, teak handholds and cruising interior make movement below decks safe and secure in a seaway.

“Anne Bonny‘s” “U”-shaped galley to port is both efficient and convenient. It affords ample working room, putting all storage areas, ice box, sinks and stove within easy reach while keeping the cook out of companionway traffic. It also affords a sheltered, protected area when meals must be prepared while underway. The galley includes deep, double stainless steel sinks draining near center line, with pressure hot & cold water ,engine & 110v 6 gallon hot water heater, gimbaled, two-burner propane stove with oven, a well-insulated ice box and cockpit propane grill to cover all of the food preparation options. There is more than ample stowage with numerous drawers, lockers, dish racks and top loading storage compartment outboard of the sink.

The forward facing navigation station and chart table located to starboard at the head of the quarter berth provides ample working room and chart storage space and for the navigator’s tools and instruments.

The starboard quarter berth is a large single wrapped in finely crafted teak
