The interior of the 1982 Cape George 31 is a masterful blend of classic craftsmanship and functional design. Galley

To Starboard, the salon is a well-equipped galley that maximizes the use of available space without compromising convenience.  The galley includes a stainless-steel sink, a two-burner stove and oven, Plus a well-sized refrigerator.  Storage for utensils, cookware, and provisions is abundant with overheard lockers and cabinets ensuring everything has its place.

 

Forward V-Berth

The forward cabin features a comfortable V-Berth with ample headroom and storage underneath.  The area is finished with the same warm teak joinery and soft cushions, making it a peaceful retreat for a restful night’s sleep.  The V-Berth is well-lit with overhead hatches and portlights, ensuring the space remains bright and airy.

Head and Shower

A well-appointed head is located to port featuring a Composting Toilet, a wash basin, and a shower area.  With careful attention to space efficiency, the head is functional and comfortable for longer stays aboard.

 

Navigation Station

A dedicated navigation station to port features space for electronics, charts, and other gear needed for cruising.  The station is conveniently located near the companionway offering easy access to both the interior and the deck while underway.
