1977 Kells 28 for sale in Palmetto, Florida.
This Sloop is easy to sail and will make a great starter sailboat or a nice daysailer!
The seller has owned her for three years and regrets having to sell her. From November of 2020 to March 2021 the seller has had a mechanic go through the engine and make sure she runs well.
The interior is well laid out and sleeps 5 comfortably. The cabin and cockpit cushions are in good condition.
The Yanmar engine pushes her along nicely. Engine hours are unknown. There is a windlass on the bow for easy anchoring!
The interior of the boat is roomy with lots of storage. A marine head or porta-potty can be added for overnight stays.

Condition
This Kells 28 is a nice starter boat. The seller has owned her for three years and reports the engine runs great. He had a local mechanic perform engine work to make sure she runs reliably. The exhaust elbow was recently replaced. The boat is currently in a skinny slip and has disconnected midship rub rails that the seller said will be an easy fix to reattach. The interior and exterior are in the process of being cleaned up. The refrigerator needs to be replaced. There is no black tank installed. There was a recent freshwater tank leak in the salon that shows in the photos. The seller has engine spare parts that are included.
