Description
This a rare opportunity to purchase a piece of American History. "San Ban" was built for Finnemore Johnson as a custom one of kind. She was designed by Fred Grieger. The boat was built for the Johnson family to cruise the Chesapeake Bay area and spent her early life up north. Her complete history of all owners is documented in the Trumpy Book. There are also several articles about her in different books about the Chesapeake. Her current owner has owned her for the past 30 years. He has cruised the Florida Keys and the Bahamas and is now slowing down and ready to pass her on to the next caretaker. She has a good race record and well known as a regular at Abaco Race Week. Being a keel/centerboard design she is perfect for cruising the intracoastal, keys or the Bahamas. If you have always wanted something different that no one else can have. This vessel may be for you.
