Description
Classic schooner for sale! 'Comus' was built by James Husk of Wivenhoe, Essex in 1882. She is a unique twin masted schooner with a single Gardner diesel engine. This beautiful classic has been under the same ownership for the last 30 years during which time she has been extensively renovated. There are historic records and documents from Lloyds to verify her history.
Vessel ashore in August 2019 for maintenance work. Now afloat again.

Single Gardner 6LXB six cylinder diesel inboard engine positioned midships with shaft drive. Engine installed new about 20 years ago. Auto Velvet drive gearbox. Electric start. Indirect water cooling.
