Ribeye is to re-launch the 740SX (pictured) at the London Boat Show in January 2012. Built on a proven commercial hull but with a recreational layout, the 740SX occupies a very clever niche in the market - and with the addition of new matt-textured tube and upholstery fabrics, it represents a very good-looking addition to the Ribeye fleet. The new boat comes with vast storage and sunbathing facilities, along with a picnic table, so as well as enjoying upgraded aesthetics, it also ought to work very effectively from a practical perspective.

At London, Ribeye will also be launching its new Euro Console and helm seat in the aluminium-hulled TS 400 RIB. The new console has been designed to accept the standard Yamaha 25-litre fuel tank, while allowing for separation of the battery and tank, with the isolator kept at the back of the unit, away from the elements. The new helm seat meanwhile uses a deep cushion with a folding, hinged backrest and it has been built with a double locker space for enhanced storage. You can check it all out on the Yamaha stand in the South Hall at the 2012 London Boat Show.
