Garmin has announced the addition of a new portable echo kit to its popular line of fish finders. Designed for fishermen on the go, this soft-sided carrying case has a rigid structure for durability and support, plus an integrated cable management and storage system for a transducer, enabling it to be transported at a moment’s notice.
In addition to storage for the 12V rechargeable AGM battery and transducer, the echo portable comes with a 220V battery charger as standard.
Garmin’s Mattias Daldborg explains: “From kayaks to ice-fishing, small vessels to canoes, the echo portable kit can meet the needs of any fisherman. The carrying case can harbour any model of the wide range of Garmin echo fishfinders and is therefore the perfect accessory to accompany the new echoMap 50s, announced at the METS exhibition.” It will be available in the first quarter of 2013 priced at £99.99.
