The attention-grabbing new Jeanneau Leader 46 has some unique design features on display including a built-in barbeque grill and sink unit in the tender garage, plus a fold-up rear window and frameless door helping to integrate the open cockpit with the enclosed saloon. Take a look for yourself with reviewer Alex Smith.

The impressively large sliding sunroof in the hard top allows a lot of light in over the helm station and the two-man sunbed to port. Down below is a master double and a guest double cabin that converts to a twin. The galley is also very large and the lounge can be specified on new boats as a third cabin if buyers prefer the extra accommodation. As Alex explains, the loss of lower-deck lounging space is easily made up for by the size of the communal areas on deck and in the main cabin.

For a selection of other family-size power cruisers, see features on the newly launched Fairline Targa 53GT or the Rodman 42 Flybridge.
