The new Grandezza 25 Sport might be the smallest boat in the Grandezza range but it still aims to offer a premium sportsboat experience, as Alex Smith shows us in this First Look Video.

The helm station certainly backs that up. You get a high class seat with lateral support, you get an arm rest for your throttle hand, you get a good foot brace to secure yourself, you get room for a 12 inch chartplotter, you get an anti-reflective finish. It really is exactly as you would have it.

The cabin really is quite modest even by 20ft sportsboat standards, but you do get a loo to starboard and a lounge seat to port. You also get an extendable bed section to turn it into a full two metre berth.

In all fairness though, this boat has been optimised as a day cruiser and its cockpit reflects that. So too do the engine options, with the base 250 Mercruiser. This is a nine-man boat capable of 38 knots and with a package price of £94,000 this compares favourably with the preminum Scandinavian brands.
