An optional electric barbecue in the portside corner of the aft platform is now available and so too is optional air conditioning in the cockpit of the GT44. An exterior curtain on the windscreen will now be available on all GT models to help keep internal temperatures pleasant when at anchor, and to make sunbathing more enjoyable, the ‘sunbath’ has also been improved, with a new lifting backrest to give it the adjustability and comfort of a conventional sun lounger.
On the Gran Turismo 34 and 38, you will now be able to choose between two sizes of bathing platform. You can have either the original platform or an expanded version to make access to the sea easier and to help make dinghy manoeuvres much simpler. And on the inside, the GT 44 and 49 have been given a complete makeover by Beneteau, with interiors available in Alpi Walnut, plus top-of-the-range coatings and ceilings from Majilite.
In the wheelhouse, the galley and the bathrooms, a lacquered cream finish is now offered as an alternative to lacquered white and throughout the range, the choice of indoor and outdoor upholstery has also been re-examined. There is now more choice in hull colour too, with ice white, grey blue and wine all available on the options list. To find out more and to see how these changes look in the flesh, head for the Southampton Boat Show this September.
