A brand new model from British builder Fairline, the Targa 53GT is, in the main, a development of the Targa 48 (see also: Fairline 48 Open video). Naturally, the emphasis in the Gran Turismo format is more on comfort and living space, as boats.com reviewer Alex Smith explains in the first look video below.

Decorative stainless steel edges, leather inlays and granite surfaces all adorn the interior or the 53GT. To starboard, there is a concealed flat-screen TV located just inside the four-part sliding glass doors that so effectively link the interior and exterior spaces.

Seating throughout is well positioned and plentiful and works well with either the doors closed or open. On the lower deck, the availability of natural light is unusual for such an enclosed design and the level of craftsmanship continues in the galley and the accommodation.
