Over the past few years Brig has become the best-selling RIB manufacturer in Europe. It has added yet another craft to its performance watersports line, in the form of the Brig Eagle 580. Watch our First Look Video of the craft below.

This might be a new boat but it very much follows the established Brig formula. To that end you get steps build into the back end of the inflatable tubes. In place of a traditional A-Frame you get something far more pared back and stylish, and in place of jockey seats you get a pair of two-man benches in the cockpit.

As you might expect that leisure buyer's user-friendliness continues ahead of the main console, where you get another couple of seats and the additional option of an infill to give you a sunbathing area.

If you specify this boat with a 100hp outboard, that will give you an impressive 38 knots at a package price of less than €30,000. Now from a practical perspective there are plenty of things I'd like to change on this boat, but you cannot argue either with the sophisticated aesthetics or with the accessibility of that price.
