Anytec 747 CAB: First Look Video
Alex Smith introduces the Swedish manufacturer Anytec's aluminium performance boat the 747 Cabin.
A new high-performance aluminium outboard boat has made its UK debut at this year's London Boat Show. Take a look at the short video below in which boats.com reviewer, Alex Smith, gets to grips with the sharp edges and fully welded joints the Anytec 747 Cabin – what would appear to be a very stiff, strong rocket boat.
Rated to carry an outboard engine up to 350hp, the 300 alone promises 50 knots, with a cruising speed of 40 knots. Buyers can specify all manner of creature comforts, but as standard the 747 CAB is spartan and sleek. "This blend of practicality and performance is going to win a lot of friends in the UK," says Alex.
The arrival in the UK is part of an overall expansion plan for this high-quality builder. After several years of growing sales, Anytec is investing in new premises, machinery and technology to achieve a higher production volume for the 2016 boating season, while creating the conditions required for the manufacturing of new models and refined hull constructions.
