Slovenia has a remarkable marine industry considering the fact that a reasonably fit adult could probably cycle the entire coastline in a morning without breaking a sweat (46km – if you must know). Think Elan yachts (see our 2013 Elan Impression 494 review), Brioni powerboats (see our Brioni 44 video) and plenty of others, plus, now a brand new range of high-quality day-cruiser/weekenders from Alfastreet. Take a look for yourself with reviewer Alex Smith in this Alfastreet 23 Cabin video below.

Designed and built in the north Adriatic, there is plenty of creativity and ingenuity in the design alongside some Venetian styling. Alfastreet also makes gambling tables – high rollers take note – and the aft seating area is furnished by a beautifully finished table. But cleverly, the hard-top roof section overhead descends at the touch of a button to make a deck-level covering for mooring and in bad weather. Even better, down below, the roof also lifts, elevating the foredeck and letting in plenty of natural light through the all-round windows.
