Accommodation

The accommodation is attractively finished with high-quality teak joinery throughout and offers four berths in two cabins with an additional small double berth in the saloon when required. 

OWNER'S CABIN / LOWER SALOON:   Fitted with two single berths with an infill to form a double berth, this area also has a removable table and can be used as a lower saloon, ideal for entertaining younger crew on day trips. Good storage is provided by a range of lockers, cupboards, and shelves, and there is excellent natural light thanks to large upper windows, two opening portlights, and an opening hatch to the foredeck.

GUEST CABIN:   The guest cabin to port with a double berth beneath the wheelhouse sole, standing headroom at the entrance with space to change, hanging locker, window, and portlight. 

HEADS:   Separate heads compartment to starboard with Jabsco marine toilet (new 2021), holding tank with diverter valve and deck discharge (new valves and hose 2021), shower, and washbasin.

SALOON:   Helm position to starboard with bucket seat with adjustable bolster for standing, ahead of a well-equipped linear galley equipped with a stainless steel Optimus 2-burner gas cooker with oven and grill, Isotherm 12v fridge, stainless steel sink, and ample storage in various lockers and drawers. Separate navigators bench seat for two to port which flips to extend the seating area around a teak table with folding leaves, this can also convert to a small double berth if required. Excellent all round visibility with increased light and ventilation provided by two large sliding sunroofs and sliding side windows.   

GENERAL EQUIPMENT:   Pressurised hot and cold water supplied throughout via a calorifier with immersion coil. Ardic 091D 6kw diesel-fired warm air heating system with outlets to all cabins plus demister outlet. Alpine stereo system with Sony saloon speakers.Teak and holly sole boards. Large aft cockpit with teak-laid sole, lazarette, removable cockpit table, integrated storage, and walk-through access to the teak-laid bathing platform. 

Mechanical Systems

Located in a soundproofed compartment beneath the saloon sole, Yanmar 4LH3-STE 4-cylinder 230hp diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Morse single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive with rope cutter to 4-bladed bronze propeller. Stainless steel 340L fuel tank. Separ duplex fuel filtration and polishing system installed, providing excellent protection against fuel quality issues. Adjustable trim tabs. Sidepower 3.1kw bow thruster. Full engine instrumentation.

The engine appears in good cosmetic condition, has been regularly maintained, and has run for 1339hrs since new (at 4/3/23, will increase gradually) equating to optimum usage of around 65hrs a season. It was last serviced in February 2022 and had a new turbo, exhaust system, and baffle installed in 2020. Her owner has cruised her locally and found that on average he uses approx. 10-12L per hour at around 2000rpm. 

Electrical Systems

4 x 12v 75ah Platinum marine batteries (3 x domestic and dedicated engine start, all new 2020) charged via engine alternator. Shorepower system with ring mains, immersion coil for water heating, and Victron Blue Smart 20ah battery charger (new 2020). Full cabin lighting. 12v Sockets.

There is an earlier Raymarine radar scanner fitted however this has not been integrated with the new chart plotter, and it may be that it is not possible to do so.

Construction

Nimbus 320 Coupe built in 2002 by Nimbus Yachts to a design by Rolf Elliasson. Dark blue GRP hull (copper coated beneath the waterline in 2020) with white superstructure and decks with moulded non-slip surfaces. Hydraulic wheel steering to rudder. Enclosed wheelhouse with sliding door. Teak laid self-draining aft cockpit with walk-thru transom door and excellent stowage. Integrated bathing platform with teak inserts and swim ladder.
