Engines

Power comes from a pair of strong and reliable 350hp Crusader 454ci gas big blocks (carb), with 400hrs~.  There is a gas genset of unknown power rating which is not running.

Vessel Overview

It's difficult to set foot in a NJ marina and not find any Silvertons in the slips.  Their popularity is bolstered by their craftsmanship, quality and durability.  It's not uncommon to find builds from the 70s and 80s still in service.  They're almost akin to the Toyota Camry of the marine world!

When you approach this 40C, the unmistakable design lets you know immediately what she is.  Step aboard and the large self-bailing cockpit with high gunwales offers safety and security.  There's plenty of room for lounging and fishing.  A ladder to port leads to a large bridge deck with hardtop and newer full enclosure.  A pair of swiveling helm seats for the captain and companion, as well as a full bench forward of the helm offer plenty of seating up top.  There is a full compliment of gauges, as well as a VHF radio, depth gauge, engine sync, and compass.  The current owners don't fish, so the choice of a GPS and Sounder are up to the buyers.

Enter the salon through the massive residential-style sliding glass door, and you're greeted by an open layout with ample headroom and space to stretch.  A large sofa to port faces an expansive counter with cabinets on the starboard side, with a flatscreen TV for entertainment.  A few steps down, and there is a beautiful dinette which converts to a bed, plus a well-equipped galley with sink, 2-burner cooktop, refrigerator/freezer, and microwave along with ample storage. Upgraded LED lighting - including underwater lights - and carpeting enhance the comfort and ambience of this spacious area.

Moving forward, the main stateroom lies at the bow and features a full size bed with tons of storage in the closet and cabinets.  There is also a large head/shower which is equally as impressive.
