The Princess 45 is a high speed motoryacht with outstanding long-range cruising capabilities. Accommodation consists of a good-sized master cabin with its own washroom; there are two further twin-berth cabins, one also with en suite facilities. Add to this a fully equipped galley and the result is a boat that is perfectly suited to relaxed getaways, convivial entertaining, and the excitement of cruising. Superbly finished in deep-lacquered natural or classic cherry wood, complemented by a choice of designer fabrics, the 45's interior is a statement in elegant living. Triple-opening stainless steel framed doors lead to the spacious teak-decked cockpit. From the cockpit there is direct access to the lazarette storage and also to the engine room for ease of inspection. A transom door leads to the extended swimming platform where the dinghy or jet ski can be stowed either by means of an electro-hydraulic passerelle or by a concealed crane in the transom coaming. From the cockpit, an integral stairway leads to the large flybridge which incorporates a twin helm position, a large settee, and a sunbed as well as a refrigerated coolbox to make this an entertaining area in its own right. The deep-V hull has an extended waterline which integrates with the latest propeller tunnel, spray rail, and chine designs. This ensures outstanding performance, safe and comfortable seakeeping, and the high efficiencies associated with fast, long-range cruising. At the same time, low speed handling and maneuvering is simplicity itself because of the matching propeller and rudder design, and the use of hydraulic steering and electronic engine controls. Combining outstanding performance and elegant three-cabin accommodation, the new Princess 45 is an extremely competent, safe, and seaworthy motoryacht ideally suited for fast, enjoyable long-range cruising.
