Extremely well cared for and loved, this Sealord 34 is a two-owner boat and her current owners have had her for twenty years. This trawler is definitely unique as she has always been kept in freshwater only. She truly is in outstanding condition and is one of the cleanest 34-foot Taiwanese trawlers that we've seen. Her twin 65 hp Volvo diesel engines are in superb mechanical shape. Her decks have been completely redone and her interior has been upgraded. Her owners continue to lavish her with love and attention and she presents herself more as a 10 year old than a 35 year old.
The surveyor who performed her 2014 Insurance Survey had this to say about her…”There are not too many twin engine 34 foot trawler style yachts around. Most in that size are single engine models, and the twins are usually in larger boats. In this respect this vessel is somewhat unique. But that is not the only feature that distinguishes the boat. It has been dramatically restored and upgraded by the present owner since purchasing it in 2003. There was a major refit and restoration of the decks and topsides and also aft cabin paneling in 2004 at a cost of $85,616.00 CA$ at Wiggers Yachts in Bowmanville Ontario. Since then, the boat has undergone a continuous program of restoration and upgrading amounting to $142,634.98 (including the Wiggers project). A complete list of this work and additions are attached to this report for reference. The value of the additions far exceed the published market value for stock trawlers of this dimension.”
