Pro kitesurfer launches off Necker Island house
High-flying kitesurfer in death-defying stunt filmed at Necker Island in the Caribbean.
Publicity stunts are just part of life for billionaire Richard Branson. His luxury private island resort in the British Virgin Islands featured earlier this year on boats.com when Sir Ben Ainslie called for assistance while sailing his honeymoon charter yacht nearby and now there is a video on Youtube featuring a pro kitesurfer launching off the top of the roof terrace of the house. "This is where a lot of mischief goes on..." reports Mr Branson standing next to the hot tub on the roof terrace perched atop the Great House at Necker Island. "Having done a lot of foolish things myself in my life, I'm not one to tell him what to do..."
The athlete in question is Nick Jacobsen, the 28-year-old professional kitesurfer who took second place at
" target="_blank">leap off a 40-metre high crane in 2014.
