Poole Afloat is all set to return to Poole Quay in the summer of 2012. Now in its 13th year, the annual boating and watersports event will be held alongside the Harry Paye Charity Fun Day from 1000 to 1800hrs on Saturday June 16 at Poole Quay.

The quayside will host the Exhibitors’ Village, which will be filled with companies from the marine and watersports industries, offering interactive activites, advice and a broad cross-section of the latest equipment. For those wanting to get out on the water, the ever-popular ‘Try-A-Boat’ feature will also be back, with a wide range of boats on offer inside Poole Quay Boat Haven Marina.

For the third year running, the Poole Afloat festival will be held in association with On The Water (www.onthewater.co.uk) - the BMF's guide to boating events in the UK, with advice and tips on every aspect of boating from boat hire, training and holidays to buying a boat and resources. If 2011 is anything to go by, it will be another excellent family event.
