How to hook a buoy... with your spinnaker

How do you hook a buoy? This is definitely my video of the week! From the Alpari World Match Racing Tour, it is filmed during the semi-finals of the Stena Match Cup Sweden 2013. Simone Ferrarese somehow finds time to do a spot of buoy fishing whilst racing!

 

 

They were trailing anyway so you have to wonder if they decided to put on some impressive entertainment for the spectators! However, this is the kind of manoeuvre you really couldn't do if you tried. It's an impressive performance (although sadly not of the winning variety) by the Ferrarese Sailing Team that made me smile. Bravo boys!
