It transpires that the latest Heineken ad campaign is to feature Daniel Craig as MI6 agent, James Bond, being pursued at pace by a pair of Frauscher's high-performance 747 Mirage powerboats, each loaded with villains (see also: Bad boys: 5 best Bond villain boats).

Bond villain boat – Frauscher 747

The Frauscher 747 has Bond villain written all over it.

Though details of the basic premise are still quite sketchy, it appears that the ad depicts Bond being pursued through a picturesque village when he decides to execute his escape by means of a vintage waterski boat where a beautiful young woman is patiently waiting for high-octane adventure.

An elaborate chase ensues, in which Bond and the woman (played by the deliriously lovely Zara Prassinot) manage to scupper the pursuing villains – but as you might expect, Austrian boatyard Frauscher is unconcerned about the failure of its boats to win the day: “The Frauscher shipyard is very proud to participate in this international ad campaign. It proves that Frauscher is building boats with high-end design, unique driving characteristics and excellent quality - worthy of brands like Heineken and James Bond.”

The video, called ‘The Chase’ will be aired in 30, 60 and 90-second formats in cinemas and on TV around the world – but if you fancy a sneak preview, take a look at the video below.
