The Wellcraft Coastal boasts a wide 10’5” beam allowing ample room for entertaining and fishing. The cockpit has upgraded to new upholstery and is wide and roomy thanks to the express-style design. New sea deck style flooring on the back deck allows for ultimate comfort and grip on bare feet. This boat was stored out of the water and under cover from 2008-2023. She was primarily used in freshwater during those years.
The wide helm chair has great sightlines while underway, this boat runs flat without using trim tabs and has wide forward-facing seating for your guests. Two mercury smart-craft gauges help track engine vitals such as fuel, engine trim, temperatures, and pressures. The proven Mercury Verados quickly get the Wellcraft up to its 32mph cruise speed. With a top speed of 43-46mph depending on load and conditions. Steering is effortless with high-performance Seastar power assist steering and a new seastar helm. A Lowrance HSD Carbon 12” multifunction makes modern navigation easy. Full feature Navionics chip card for BC/AK included as well as a new transducer. New toggle switches with USB ports keep devices charged up and a Bluetooth stereo allows for wireless entertainment.
Below deck, she has roomy accommodations in the forward large berth for two (which easily converts to and from seating and table). The cushions downstairs are new. The backrests convert into bunk beds allowing two additional “bunk bed style” sleeping areas above. A second berth for two is located in the aft stateroom under the helm with a courtesy screen and slider window for fresh airflow. The compact galley has a cooktop with dual fuel (non-pressurized safe alcohol, and 120-volt electricity when on shore power), a 120-volt microwave, and a 120/12-volt fridge. Plenty of dry storage is available under the V-birth. An enclosed head with a Sealand Vacuflush toilet completes the forward cabin. The head doubles as a shower area and has storage for all your toiletries w/new facets. These features help make this 29ft express feel much larger than other typical Grady-White walkarounds in the same weight class.
On the back deck, you will find two large, insulated fish boxes to hold the day's catch, and a larger fish locker is located behind the helm for the big tuna or bottom fish days. This space also doubles as an excellent storage space for beach chairs and tables. Courtesy lights and a spreader light allow you to navigate easily throughout the vessel at night. There is also lots of storage on the port side of the vessel rear deck and a sink for washing off dishes or tackle.
The foredeck has nice access through the windshield door or you can “walk around” the outside, a drum style anchor system caters to fishing but provides a low-maintenance anchoring system with ample power that’s far superior to other flush mount systems.Engines have been used for salmon trolling, so many hours are at lower rpm. The motors are very clean and are turnkey and all maintenance has been completed. Engine printout available for serious inquiries. Propellers are top of the line stainless mercury enertias.
This boat shows well for her age with only small cosmetic imperfections, She is freshly polished and waxed- ready for boating season! Trim tabs have new anodes and bottom paint has been touched up with micron CSC providing ample growth protection. The canvas underwent refurbishment and it is in good shape. A canvas slope back is included which is perfect for keeping the elements out -a must have for winter months or even a camping trip when you want more covered space. The transom mount courtesy ladder makes getting in and out of the water easy and stores away nicely on the transom. New batteries were installed in 2023.
