2011 Rosborough Roughwater 9.11 Fast TrawlerConepatus is a concept boat designed and built for a cruising couple. Our intention was to build a boat that was trailerable and yet seaworthy. She has served us well over the last 9 years. During this time we have cruised from the Chesapeake to Maine up the coast, from Chesapeake to the Canadian Trent - Severn and Rideau Canals, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, St. Lawrence Seaway to Saguenay Fiord, Columbia River, Snake River, San Juan Islands, British Columbia Pacific coast, and Southeast Alaska. Over 13,000 miles on her bottom in the 9 years we have cruised her, plus another 8,000 miles on her trailer. Conepatus is a USCG Documented Vessel. Conepatus has proven to be a capable seaboat during her cruises. With full electronics, twin 150hp Yamaha motors, watermaker, stove with oven, cabin furnace, refrigerator, and hot water she is a confortable boat for extended cruising away from the marinas. We typically cruise 3 to 6 months each year. She has a 3 axle Venture trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes.
