SPECIAL APRIL CORONA PRICE: $1000 REDUCTION Since I would like to sell this season, despite the pandemic. Original listing and selling was $5,900!   (I will consider your serious offer as well!)   Here are the details:   Super clean, well-kept and -equipped, and mechanically sound, Catalina 25 sailboat, PRICED TO SELL this March/April/May, in time for season.  And she is ready to go: The boat has a new 2017 outboard gasoline engine (Mercury 9.9) and new North Sails sails, new recently installed Harken jib furler, new tiller, new compass, original upholstery in good condition, manual Jabsco head –– good as new, fixed fin keel - 4' draft. The layout is the dinette one, see diagram in photos. Fully functional head, wash basin, no shower, as per standard design: perfect for a day-sail or two. We used this boat for cruising in NYC Harbor mainly — such a blast. This boat is the ideal starter boat and great to navigate even for beginner sailors with only limited previous experience. EXTENSIVE on-boat documentation and easy motor to handle (for getting in and out the marina). The motor was fully serviced in 2019, and is super easy and clean to use. It goes without saying that this boat is fully fitted for safety, including all standard equipment and tools. Non-electric cooler/ice box on board. This boat participated in the Greta Thunberg welcome in 2019, comes with a special UN sail you can keep as a piece of history. Other extras include: coffee maker (!!), sailing/wine glasses (you see, we lived the high life on this boat, and invite you to do it too) – and on the more functional side, boat hooks, a custom-fitted dock box for storage use inside the boat, and additional (!) dock box for dock use (dismantled and stored inside first dock box), something like ten life vests (clean and new, and various sizes), hand-held depth meter! A salt-water powered emergency lamp, and other little things like bottle openers and cutlery are also on board. Boat comes as is! Everything is in full working order, except only the following: the mast and anchor lights (all the way at the top of mast). I checked the wiring that leads to the mast — it is good — but it needs to be sorted out inside the mast if you want to get it going. Front/back lights and inside lights work perfectly, as do lighter/charger connections for phones etc. and I mounted and additional battery-powered mast lamp for as-needed use just in case (works great, but no anchor light, just steaming). One other minor, mast-related issue: the windex/indicator at the top of the mast is a bit bent and sometimes gets caught. You see, these two (light and windex) are minor issues, but here you go for full disclosure. This is an honest sale meant for an honest, serious, but swift purchaser, in time for the season. (The issues outlined, of course, are easily fixable once you get a Bosun’s chair to go up the mast. I just haven’t gotten round to it.)   There you go! That’s At Last. I'm Jack: Please contact me by email/boats.com message. Viewings in April and May on dry in Jersey City for serious interest only, but we can start talking now in March. I know both previous owners and would love to give her into good hands that will appreciate this little, but great, boat.    No unsolicited emails pls, and NO Cashier's Check/Money Order and other SCAMS, scammers.    Lastly: I used to have her on boatsetter, a rental service. Here you can check my profile (real person here) — and boat reviews: https://www.boatsetter.com/boats/bkvscjf (Same photo set.)   UPDATE MARCH 1st: I'll add my responses to individual enquiries here, so this additional info and clarification helps others as well –– Regarding ammenities and sails: "Galley with sink (manual pump), ice box, and coffee cooker that plugs in, but no oven. New North Sails as of 2016 I believe, rigged every year and including last one, 2019. Perfect condition since so new. Original upholstery! They made this stuff really well, it’s all in excellent condition. Please see photos!"   Regarding anchor & chain: "Chain (don’t have the length off the top of my head, but long enough for the *NYC* harbor) and plow anchor, I believe. Tank sizes — I’d have to get back to you. I just know the fuel tank is 6 gallons. Fresh and gray water are big: if you look at the layout/boat plan, fresh is under the long bench on starboard, gray under the front bench on port."
