2003 Mastercraft Prostar 205 V with Indmar Predator Engine (310hp) on a UK spec trailer.
All the usual Mastercraft quality with seating for 8 people, carpets, walk through windscreen, stereo, full engine instrumentation, heaps of storage, nav lights (handy for late night skiing!), ski mirror, integral ski pole, teak bathing platform and much more besides.
This is the excellent hull which was the original X Star which evolved into the X2 and more recently the X1, so with the addition of a tower you would have the basis of a fantastic Wakeboard boat, if you wanted to go all out you could add a couple of fatsacs and have an amazing X star replica with minimum hassle.
The boat is all in good order, has just been fully valeted and will come fully serviced for the new owner. We can also find space for this on our yard for park and launch for the forthcoming season and beyond. The trailer is a Mastercraft UK spec single axle bunk trailer which has a winch and boat buddy loading system.
The only downside is that the cover is looking tired, but for a 5 year old boat it has lasted well and would repair easily or be replaced with a new one which we can sort out for the new owner. However If you were to buy a tower to go on the boat it would require a new cover.
The boat itself is in almost as new condition and has been looked after and serviced by ourselves.

If every boat in MasterCraft’s fleet is like a dedicated piece of sports equipment then the MasterCraft ProStar 205V would be a multi-tool. This boat’s ambidextrous wakes are ideal for all types of fun. When driving the 205V above 24 mph, the boat’s narrow wake lays down for carving uninterrupted slalom turns. It creates ideal conditions for beginner and intermediate skiers. At slower speeds, the 205V creates narrow, tall, defined wakes that are perfect for beginner, intermediate and expert wakeboarders. Originally a direct drive model, the 205V was converted to a V-Drive model in 1998. That opened up the interior and made it even more versatile. Also known as the X-Star from 1996 to 2002, the 2003 ProStar 205V is available with a KGB ballast system, Zero Flex Flyer tower and other wakeboarding delights when packaged as the new X-2. While the ProStar 205V has become famous for its varying wake shapes, the boat also has an equally resourceful interior and a powerful 310 horsepower, fuel-injected Predator powerplant. From the driver’s seat it’s incredibly easy to multi-task. Throttle-up using the new chrome shifter knob, check gauges at a glance, and adjust the oversized mirror all while towing slalom, barefoot, wakeboard, kneeboard or air chair. The view over the bow can even be adjusted by simply flipping up the MasterView driver’s seat. There’s also a new chrome steering wheel cap, a new pylon top, new stainless steel windshield stanchions and a new stainless steel glove box latch. The 205V has space for life jackets, skis, ropes and boards under the seat, under the floor or below the cavernous three-piece sundeck. There’s also expansive wrap-around seating and an open bow to seat 12 people comfortably. |
